this is where i keep a collection of facts i've dug up about the band (mainly about daniel, since he's my favourite chair member). i haven't fact checked all of these, so please let me know if any of these aren't true so i can remove them. i find them pretty interesting though, and i hope you learn some new things about them from this! i'm also still working on adding facts, so bare with me!
daniel johns facts
he got wasted on champagne when he was 15-16
he announced he was vegan in 1998, but had most likely been vegan years before then
he had a stuffed animal named doola
he has asthma, and had an asthma attack at the 1997 aria awards
he stated that his dog is more important to him than having a girlfriend
he gets jealous easily and once got ben to break up with one of his girlfriends in high school because he felt left out by the fact ben and chris had girlfriends and he didnt
he used to have braces, and you can see them in their performance of 'felt like it' in 1993
he avoids boats because of his fear of drowning
someone made a doll of him called 'tickle me johnsy' of when he had dreads, and it was displayed in the 'past, present, and futurenever' exhibition
he can spit in the air and catch it in his mouth
he used to play violin and trumpet when he was younger
he once had a fish but it died after 2 days
he has a brother named heath and a sister named chelsea
he hates the song 'cicada' off of frogstomp, but from my research, hasn't stated why
two of his nicknames are johnsy and jasper. 'johnsy' because of his last name, and 'jasper' because people in school thought he looked as pale as casper the ghost
english was his favourite subject, and he was quite good at it
in 1996 he learned to play the drums
